Fourth Week with Digital Analytics

This week, the prodigal sabbatical continues; I will continue to boost my progress with EAS and try finishing off my test by this weekend and then probably set my sights on Google Data Studio and Facebook Analytics. GA4 should probably be in the backseat for about another two weeks, after which I will go back and bring that to completion. Also, after toggling the analytics on my account, I found an alarming prospect; I have completed 30% of my course timeline, but my course progress hasn’t caught up yet and remains in the outskirts of 10%. With extensive planning this week, I aim to bring this around. As my final informal note for this week, I wish to inform you that I have begun my first week at business school. As a freshman at NALSAR University’s IPM program, I have started to reach out to new people and begun to expand my network.  Getting into the intricacies of the course now, I started my week off with Sum and count commands. Third Week with Digital Analytics

  This week, I have decided to take a mini-sabbatical from Google Analytics. I have received a flurry of information, and I think I would be able to apply it better if I give myself more self-study time on it as compared to watching video lectures. However, I still am under a time crunch, so hence, I have started the lesson on “Excel and Sheets for Marketers”. For a long time, I have had the inclination towards learning Excel with a special focus on using it for efficient usage of data. This is exactly what my focus has been for this week. Now to a bit of an informal note, I have been accepted into the IPM program at NALSAR University, and will be starting my studies there (although in a remote environment) from 20th September! I am stoked to start my journey there, starting to learn more about business and its real-world applications. Second Week with GA4

With the kick-off of my second week with Google Analytics, I started to dive more into the fine-tuning of GA4 and Big Query.   As a general outline, I have planned out my course to look like I complete one course a week. Since there is a grand total of 15 courses to be completed in 12 weeks, I’ll complete 1 per week for the first three weeks and then pump up those numbers in the upcoming weeks to match the excess 3 lessons I would have to cover up. Obviously, I’m keeping in mind the standard deviation of course length from the mean course length, since that is bound to vary vastly. I have had a pretty easy-going first course, but I know for a fact that I would have to grapple with the larger and more academically rigorous courses on the fly. My First Week with Digital Analytics

  The first week starting off with the CXL Mini-Degree course in Data Analytics has been a new and jovial experience in itself. Starting off with the very basics of what Analytics as a domain is, and how it can be used to not only leverage the potential of a company but also hedge its position to make it stand strong through all types of terrain. What analytics basically aims to do is to replace the mysterious black box in our brains that clouds our vision, and helps us combat this issue which prevents us from seeing exactly how and from where we can generate revenue and/or leads to further grow the business. The whole concept of understanding just how important data collection, processing, and representation is hit me like a ton of bricks as soon as I saw how Google uses the data collected from devices and helps companies market that information to reach higher potentials.
